Retreats & Keynotes

We deliver powerful experiences for your leadership and faculty, designed to inspire creativity. Our leadership retreats establish a foundation for executive coaching, based on individual objectives, strategic goals, and longevity.

Our keynote speeches are conducted by a range of experts from professional comedians to clinical psychologists. This will be a memorable experience filled with unexpected surprises.

Our edutainment continuum rates the tone of the workshop with (1) being high in educating and (10) being high in entertaining.

Admin Retreat

Edutainment Continuum (1-10)

Summary:This half or full-day summer workshop prepares leaders for the challenges of the upcoming school year, translating strategic goals into actionable steps. Leaders are equipped with new strategies, techniques, and methodologies based on the specific needs of the community.

A pre-workshop survey identifies critical individual and systemic issues, aggregates data about uncertainties, concerns, and unique objectives.

In addition to a team of professional psychologists and other health care professionals, we use comedians, actors, and massage therapists to create meaningful experiences with nurturing  and learning.

Resilience is the most important predictor of ‘dis-ease’ and preventer of distress. We define the nine elements of resilience using a tool to plan for better health.

Logistics: This workshop is ideal for longer time windows, early in the school year, and for  groups of 5-50. A half or full day is recommended.

Keynotes

Our blend of education and entertainment helps affirm faculty for all the challenges they face while inspiring them toward greatness. Your faculty will be laughing and learning the entire time, appreciative of the enthusiastic messages. Written by a clinical psychologist and educator turned professional comedian, these keynotes are sure to rock!

"For our fourth annual administrator summer retreat, I suspected that our educators might be willing and able to take an evolutionary leap in their training. I immediately thought of Dr. Scherz, having seen him present in other venues. He worked closely with our planning team to tailor a two- hour workshop that not only met the needs of a diverse group of 75 preK-12 and district leaders but challenged us to think differently about students moving forward. More importantly, he left us with tools and strategies to help more students-- particularly those who are disengaged-- succeed."

Dr. Marc Natanagara, Assistant Superintendent, Toms River School District
